This new project by Manuel Adnot navigates between modern folk and contemporary composition, centring on acoustic string instruments and instruments with struck or plucked strings. A range of timbres drawn from the harp, harpsichord, piano, and dobro guitar, supported by an electric bass and drums, comes together with the breath of the trumpet and a mixed vocal duo. An imaginary repertoire of folk songs structured around a contemporary, acoustic chamber orchestra.
